This Privacy Policy describes how AppVerb ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
When you use the application, certain information may be collected automatically or through third-party services.
You may sign in using Firebase Authentication with email/password, Google Sign-in, or Apple Sign-in. When you sign in, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication token for the purpose of managing your account. If you sign in with Google, we request access to your profile and email address through Google OAuth 2.0. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (which you may choose to hide).
The application may collect anonymous usage data such as device type, app interactions, and crash reports to improve the application.
The application stores your preferences locally on your device (such as language selection, verb lists, sorting preferences, and completed tutorials). This data is not transmitted to our servers.
The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect and use data such as device identifiers to provide ads.
When you first use the app, you will be asked whether you consent to personalized advertisements. You can change this preference at any time within the app settings. If you do not consent, only non-personalized ads will be shown.
The application downloads and stores educational content on your device, including audio files (MP3), data files (JSON), and images. These files are stored in the application's private storage area and do not contain personal user data. This allows the app to function offline.
The application may prevent your device from sleeping while audio content is being played. This is released automatically when playback stops.
In the future, the application may offer optional paid subscriptions. Payments and billing information are processed by the app store provider (such as Google Play or Apple App Store) and are not stored by us.
Application content such as audio files, images, and data files may be delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. These files do not contain personal user data. All network communication uses HTTPS encryption.
The application uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Your account information is retained as long as your account is active. Locally stored preferences and downloaded content can be cleared by uninstalling the application or clearing app data through your device settings. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email address below.
The application is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
